Bitybean, llc., founded in 2012, is a socially conscious Vermont company dedicated to the mission of helping families get out and explore their world together!
Bitybean’s founder started with a vision for a child carrier for his daughter that he could easily pack away when not in use. When he couldn’t find what we was looking for available on the market, Doug decided to create it! He tapped into his engineering background and sewing experience and teamed up with a local technical soft goods design expert. They worked together to combine user-centric design philosophy, state-of-the-art fabrics and hardware, and optimized design to create a totally different child carrier. Bitybean was born.
Bitybean's UltraCompact baby carrier weighs just 8 oz and is completely compressible into a pouch the size of a child’s water bottle, and is unisex, stylish, and innovative. The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association agrees and in October the internationally recognized organization honored Bitybean with a 2012 Innovation award. It has numerous patent pending features that make it completely unique on the market.
Bitybean provides a conveniently packable way to securely carry an infant or a growing toddler, giving parents the flexibility to be ready for anything. Our carrier is smaller and lighter than any soft sided carrier on the market and can be tucked away in any pocket, bag, or purse. It can be used for front or back carry for infants and toddlers 3 months and up and weighing 8 to 40 lbs. Bitybean provides comfortable closeness, without all the bulk.
Our products are designed to give parents the freedom to be ready for anything!
Giving back to our community is central to Bitybean’s mission. We’ve teamed up with the Children & Nature Network.
The Children & Nature Network envisions a world in which all children play, learn and grow with nature in their everyday lives.
They are leading the movement to connect all children, their families and communities to nature through innovative ideas, evidence-based resources and tools, broad-based collaboration and support of grassroots leadership.
